I am trying to be on the ball this year and not rushing at the last minute for Teacher Christmas gifts. So I made up this Hot Chocolate Christmas Gift Idea. I finally have them done and ready now and couldn’t be happier! I was inspired to make these gifts with the Share the Joy World Market challenge. At first I wasn’t going to blog about this, but I just loved how nicely they turned out that I just had to! If you follow me on Instagram you may have already seen the pictures of what I made for Adison’s teachers.
I wanted to get the teachers a gift that they could use over and over. So after the teachers are done enjoying their hot chocolate they have a nice mug, wire basket for holding stuff, and some cute glass jars. I think anyone would would love to get a gift like this!
Hot Chocolate Christmas Gift Idea
- wire basket
- cute snowflake mugs
- white linen napkins
- Any hot chocolate – the hot chocolate cones at World Market are only 3.49
- cute mini jars – red jars – green jars
- gift tags
- Andes mint and peppermint pieces – if you can’t find these in your grocery store you can get them on Amazon but they are less expensive at World Market.
The wire basket is nice and sturdy but there are holes in it. I didn’t want anything dropping through (like the hot chocolate cone) so I used a white linen napkin to line the bottom.
Next I added the mugs and hot chocolate. I adore these mugs. There were so many designs and it was hard to choose, but when I saw these with the snowflake design I knew it would be perfect. The mugs are ceramic and really nice. You could use any delicious hot chocolate – Adison wanted to use the cone ones because she thought the marshmallows and chocolate chips looked really good.
These cute glass jars were only .99 cents each! So cute and so inexpensive! I filled the red ones up with Andes Peppermint pieces
and the green ones up with Andes mint chocolate pieces.
We thought these would be delicious stirred into a nice cup of hot chocolate! Plus eating the leftovers was delicious!
The gift tags I grabbed were just perfect! My favorite tag was the Joy tag – perfect for how we feel about Adison’s teachers!
We are so grateful for everything Adison’s teachers do for her and we are so excited to be able to share this gift with them!
