Make a batch of delicious spring flower pretzel bites in no time with M&M's® candies and pretzels. A fun activity that the whole family can enjoy! If you make a purchase using the affiliate links included, we may earn a commission.
Do you remember what your favorite candy was when you were a kid? For me, it was M&M's®.
Every payday my Mom would let us all pick a treat when she went grocery shopping. My treat would always be M&M's®. I looked forward to them every time my mom did her big grocery shopping trip.
These would be a great treat to make for Easter, a Spring party, or any time of the year! They are currently my new favorite snack.
Doesn't this bowl of colored M&M candies look delightful?
I used the Peanut Butter M&Ms, but you can use whichever flavor is your favorite!
You can also use any flavor of Dove chocolates. This would be delicious with the white chocolate version.
This recipe is very similar to my Snickers Pretzel Bites recipe, so I suggest checking out that recipe as well.
Recipe Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350º.
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
Arrange pretzels in a single layer on the cookie sheet.
Place a Dove chocolate square on top of each pretzel.
Place in the oven for just 1 minute.
The one minute will begin to make the chocolate nice and soft. If you keep them in longer they will probably melt too much, or possibly burn.
Create M&M flowers in the center of the melted chocolate with 6 of the same color for the flower petals, and then 1 of a different color for the flower center.
You will want to move quickly before the chocolate rehardens.
When all of the flowers have been made, you can place the cookie sheet in the freezer for a quick setup.
Now you have some fun candy flower pretzel bites to enjoy. This homemade Easter candy is a classic salty-sweet flavor combo of chocolate.
Be sure to make enough chocolate pretzel bites to go around, they are so good!
Next time I make them I think I will use the Caramel Dove chocolates. Yummy!
Storage:
Store pretzel flowers in an air-tight container. They will stay fresh for about 7 days if stored at room temperature.
Use as Cupcake Toppers:
These M&M Spring Candy Flowers are delightful on their own but also fun to make to use to decorate cupcakes.
I made some quick cupcakes using a box cake mix and then topped them with some green frosting.
A flower pretzel bite looks so cute perched on top!

Frequently Asked Questions:
Can I make Pretzel Bites in the Microwave?
Yes, you can make pretzel bites in the microwave.
Place pretzels in a single layer on a microwave-safe plate, or a paper plate. Place a Dove chocolate on top of the pretzels.
Microwave for 30 seconds at 50% power. Check to see if the chocolate is melted enough to place the M&Ms. If not, repeat for another 30 seconds.
Chocolate can burn very quickly in the microwave, so keep a close eye on it.

Our Baking Essential List:
- For baking casseroles, we use Glass Baking Dishes. I especially like the dishes with lids so leftovers can be transferred straight to the fridge.
- Silicone Kitchenware is my favorite because they don't scratch my cookware and is easy to clean!
- A Glass Cutting Board is a must to prepare all of those ingredients. We even keep ours on our counter at all times.
- This Knife Set will also become your favorite! They cut beautifully, and with the hollow design of the knife, food doesn't stick to the blade.
