Waffle Ingredients:
- 2 cups All Purpose Flour
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- ¼ tsp Salt
- 2 Large Eggs
- ½ tsp Vanilla extract
- 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter, melted
- 1 ¾ cups Milk
- Cooking Spray
Maple Cream Syrup Ingredients:
- ½ cup Butter, softened
- ½ cup Powdered Sugar
- 4 oz. Cream Cheese, softened
- ¼ cup Maple Syrup
- ¼ cup Pecans, chopped
Waffles:
This is my favorite waffle recipe, and it is so simple to make.
In a large bowl, combine all of the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt) to make a flour mixture.
Create a well in the center of your dry ingredients and add the wet ingredients.
Stir until the waffle batter is fully combined, and cook in a waffle maker according to the manufacturer's instructions (all waffle irons are a bit different!).
Maple Cream Sauce:
Whether you call this a syrup, or a sauce, it is the star of the show when it comes to waffles and pancakes!
Place all of the Maple Cream ingredients into a microwave-safe bowl.
Stir everything together with a fork or spatula until well combined. It will be thick.
When the waffles are hot and ready, place the bowl of sauce in the microwave for 30 seconds.
Stir, then cook another 30 seconds. You want the sauce hot and completely melted.
Pour the maple cream syrup over your waffles and top with a few more pecans.
Looks delish right? It tastes oh so good!
Leftovers:
Store leftover waffles in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3-5 days.
You can also store leftover waffles in the freezer and reheat them in a toaster.
Store leftover syrup in an airtight container in a refrigerator for up to 3-5 days.

Notes
Our Baking Essential List:
- For baking casseroles, we use Glass Baking Dishes. I especially like the dishes with lids so leftovers can be transferred straight to the fridge.
- Silicone Kitchenware is my favorite because they don't scratch my cookware and is easy to clean!
- A Glass Cutting Board is a must to prepare all of those ingredients. We even keep ours on our counter at all times.
- This Knife Set will also become your favorite! They cut beautifully, and with the hollow design of the knife, food doesn't stick to the blade.
