Appetizers ideas for the Big Game with #TGIFGameDay

Our family always loves to watch a good game on TV and this time of year is always the best for that.  For dinner I usually have a premade lasagna or a pizza that I can throw in the oven but the game time snacks and appetizers are also important. The family (especially the kids) love all the little snacks like chips, appetizers and football cupcakes for dessert.  T.G.I. Fridays has made appetizers so much easier with yummy items like their Chicken Wings in Honey BBQ Sauce and Loaded Cheddar & Bacon Potato Skins (so good)!

I ran to the store to stock up on all kinds of T.F.I. Fridays appetizers then Adison and Kayden helped me make some football cupcakes.  Adison received a cake decorating kit for Christmas and had such fun making these football cupcakes while I cooked up everything else.

The potato skins were surprisingly big and filling.  The box had 4 potato skins in it which was perfect for my family of 5 since one of my boys does not enjoy potatoes – so the rest of us were able to enjoy this yummy goodness.

The Chicken Wings in Honey BBQ sauce were also delicious.  You pour the sauce onto the chicken after it is cooked so the chicken gets nice and crispy.  The sauce was very good  but I did like that the sauce packet was added on after because I was able to pull out a few pieces of chicken for my Adison who isn’t a sauce fan. Kayden loved these so much he tried to talk my husband out of some of his Chicken Wings.

I love having little parties like this with our little family – nothing too over the top – but enjoyable, fun and builds memories.

What are your favorite game time snacks?

For our little party I ran to Walmart to grab some decorations (great prices for these) and hit the frozen section for the T.G.I Friday appetizers.  If you want to try these yourself you can check out the Demos at Walmart stores from January 30th to February 2nd.

I’m pretty sure I need some of those twice baked potatoes! Seeing all this makes me want to have a Super Bowl party of my own.

We always do a little something for the Superbowl even if it is just with my little family. My kids love it!
