My kids start school in 11 days and I am full back to school mode! Shopping for school clothes, school supplies and school lunches. One thing I like to grab when shopping are items with box tops. I love to support my childrens school with box tops and right now at Walmart you can earn FIVE Box Tops for every one box top for your school on select General Mills products.
Throughout the entire year I like to collect box tops to help my school out. I find them on many of my groceries each week. Todays shopping trip I ended up with a total of 11 box tops. So my school will be getting $1.10 for these. Doesn’t sound like much but if I grab my box tops each weak that should be around $5 a month which will be about $60 a year. That is just from me – would if every household did this for their school. Think of the money that could be raised for your school!
On todays shopping trip I grabbed my favorite Chex mix and made these little snack mix bags for their lunch boxes and was excited to see the Chex mix bags have box tops on them as well. For this simple snack mix treat idea you just simple put your favorite chex mix in a bag and tie a cute tag to it.
I love these Lunchbox Notes Free Printables I found on The Crafty Blog Stalker website – it was the perfect tag for my snack mix.
I feel truly blessed for my kids school and the education they are receiving. For such a long time we struggled with something that would work for my Adison. She is a such a happy kid and works so hard. BUT she just wasn’t learning at the pace she was supposed to. We tried many things at her school and things just weren’t working. The school was great in trying to work with her but we ended up moving my kids to another school.
Wow it has been amazing how much things have changed for her. Her enviornment is different, the way she is taught is different and she is caught up. She is taught based on her level instead of here grade and this has helped her sky rocket to now being at grade level (or above in some cases). I can’t tell you how this has helped her self confidence! For this I can’t say thank you enough to them. So when they send home Box Tops for Education flyer it is something I really try to do for them.
You may not feel like a few box tops here and there will make a difference but it all adds up! Each Box Top for Education is worth $.10. Just think about it for a bit. If everyone was cutting their box topos and donating to the school it could really add up! Be sure to grab the box top on the package and then the 4 bonus box toops certificate.
It only takes a few moments to cut the box tops and send them into the school and it helps so much! Right now on participating General Mills product you can get 5 box tops! So as your shopping be on the lookout out for these packages, your school will love it!
