I had heard of Buddy V’s and that is was the restaurant of Cake Boss so I was very excited to try it but wasn’t sure what to expect.
While waiting to be seated I was able to look around a bit and get a look at the decor. It had such a nice welcoming feel to it.
When you first walk in there is this amazing light fixture – do you see that inside of the lights it looks like whisks! So fun!
On the right was an amazing display of desserts
We were seated at a window seat with a nice view of vegas but what I really loved was the decor on the wall. It was a wall of bundt pans – how fun is that! I would love to do this in my kitchen!
I loved how the decor was tasteful and family friendly – somewhere I could for sure bring my family when we return.
I went to Buddy V’s with 6 other bloggers and we were really spoiled! The staff took such great care of us and were amazing! We were able to try so many things on the Menu and everyone took their time to explain the dishes we were eating, answer our questions and didn’t give us strange smiles when we had to stop and take a million pictures before trying the food. Oh I have so many delicious food pictures to share!
We tried so many delicious things – I thought it would be fun to share a menu image – everything we tried is circled.
Okay so to start off with we had Bread with Oil and vinegar and then Buddy’s Salami & Cheese Board. The bread was amazing and they were great to keep bringing it out all night. I really liked the Salami & Cheese Board – I was able to try a little bit of everything and enjoyed it all.
Time for Appetizers! We had Charred Octopus, My Wife’s Eggplant Parm, and Aunt Nina’s Mozzarella En Carozza. I was so proud of myself for trying the octopus, it was fun telling my kids about it when I got home. I really liked the Mozzarella En Carozza – it was liked an amped up Grilled Cheese Sandwich – so good! My favorite appetizer was the Eggplant Parm. I have never had Eggplant so I wasn’t sure if I would like it and I loved it!
Next they brought out Chicken Marsala, Carmelized Sea Scallops, Nonna’s Lasagna Al Forno and Valastro Sunday Gravy. My favorite thing of this course was the polenta the Sea Scallops were served on. It was a creamy parmesan polenta and has such amazing flavor. I could have just taken an entire bowl of that and been happy!
Of course with bloggers we like to take pictures of our food to share on our blog so we had to let everyone have a chance to take pictures before digging in.
I was stuffed! Then they brought out desserts!! I had to make room for desserts and learned from Vanessa that everyone has a “Dessert Shelf” in their stomach and I found out that it was true because I was able to find room for dessert!
Top Left – Buddy V’s XL Lobster Tail. Top Right – Lisa’s Warm Nutella Cake with Salted Caramel Ice Cream. Bottom – Italian Birthday Cake.
While I loved everything they brought out my favorite was the Lobster Tail. It was beautiful to look at but oh so delicious!!! I am craving another one – I really must go back there soon to have another!
I am so thankful to Buddy V’s for letting us try so many dishes on the menu. They kept food coming for all 7 of us and we were able to enjoy it “family style” and try so many different things.
I want to mention the staff again. The waiters, manager and chef were wonderful! They were helpful, prompt, answered questions and even willing to take a photo of all of us. The Manager stopped by our table several times and had such a fun and good sense of humour.
The Chef stopped by at the end of our meal to see how we liked everything. He was even willing to sit down at the table with us for a quick picture.
I highly recommend Buddy V’s and when I am in Vegas again this will for sure be one the places we come for dinner. It was so amazing to enjoy this with all of my friends
Have you been to Buddy V’s before? What did you think? If you end up going there while in Las Vegas you will have to let me know what you thought!
Disclosure: I received a meal from Buddy V’s in return for a review. All opions are 100% mine.
