I have made several recipes using the new “Bites” that you can find at the grocery store, they have been such a fun (and yummy) find!  Several months ago I shared my Snicker Pretzel Bites Recipe and today I am excited to share my Caramel Brownie Bites Recipe.  Caramel brownies are a favorite treat in our home and they are so simple to make.  Just a few ingredients and you have a yummy treat in no time!

Caramel Brownie Bites Recipe

Ingredients Needed:

  • Brownie Batter (homemade or box mix)
  • Nuts (we prefer pecans) – Chopped
  • Milky Way Simply Caramel Bites

You can find the Milky Way Simply Caramel Bites at Walmart in the candy aisle.  If you can’t find them there you may find them in a display.  At my Walmart they were a few in the candy aisle but a lot more on the display shelf

bites recipe

Step 1.  Heat the oven and make your brownie batter according to your brownie directions.  Once the batter is ready stir in the chopped Nuts.

Step 2.  Pour into a greased pan.  Today I am using a special pan that will make my brownies bite sized.  If you don’t have a pan like this you can just cut your brownies to size once they are cooked and cooled.

Step 3. Into each square I am placing 2 Milky Way Simply Caramel Bites.  These will melt while my brownies are cooking and will make them have a nice caramel center.  If you are using a regular pan I would bake as directed then test for doneness. For the pan below I cooked a few minutes less than the instructions so they would not overcook.

Step 4.  Serve warm with a side of icecream or let cool and enjoy as a yummy snack – my kids love these as a snack during movie night!

I love chewy brownies with some delicious caramel inside!

If you would like to make this recipe yourself (or just eat because they are delicious) then you will for sure want to print out these coupons for the Bites

Have you tried the bites candy?  So far my favorite is the Snickers bites – what’s your favorite??

Oh man…I love the corner brownies and asked for that pan for ages. I ended up getting two completely different pans that serve the same purpose. (It’s good for lasagna, too!)

Thanks April. I think they are one of the easiest treats to make – the pan was a bit of a pain to clean up though 🙂
