Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad and more with Sam’s Club

I have a few simple recipes I am going to share with you today – my favorite is my Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad.  My entire family just loves it!  I am able to get all of the ingredients for this recipe at my local Sam’s Club.  Sam’s Club is one of my favorite places to shop.  There is so much I get out of my Sam’s Club membership – In fact I find that I go to Sam’s almost weekly for all of their great services.  I always use their photo department and my husband goes there for his tires but my favorite part (and the kids favorite) is the food.  Weekly I am buying fresh food like their  bread, chicken, fruits and veges.  Every other week I am grabbing items for the kids lunch boxes. #TrySamsClub

3 simple Meals from Sam's Club

One of our favorite things to buy at Sam’s is their rotisserie chickens.  The day I buy the chicken we have Chicken Sandwiches and fresh fruit.  I am able to get the chicken, croissants and apple slices all at Sam’s Club

Chicken Sandwich

With the left over chicken I make my pasta salad.  Let me show you how easy it is to make!

Ingredients needed: (I grabbed all of this at Sam’s Club)

  • 2 cups cooked chicken (I just use the rest of my rotisserrie chicken)
  • 2 1/2 cups dry Pasta cooked, drained and cooled
  • 1/2 cup Ranch dressing
  • Bacon pieces – you can cook up so 5 to 6  bacon slices and cut into pieces or use Bacon bits (a cup or two should do)!
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups Frozen Veges (cooked) – I use whatever frozen vege I have on hand (pees are a favorite)

To assemble add your cooked/shredded chicken, cooked (drained/cooled) pasta, cooked/drained vege and gently mix with the ranch dressing.  Top with your cheese and bacon and mix that it.  Place it a pretty dish and add a little more bacon and cheese to the top and you have a delicious dinner ready to go!

On this last trip to Sam’s Club I took my mom with me so I could show her how great everything is.  I would like to share with you some of the things I pointed out to her that I love!  When first entering Sams we went straight to the first and grabbed fresh bread, tortillas and a box of croissants – my favorite!  Sometimes the kids can talk me into grabbing some muffins as well – they are oh so good!  Next I stop and grab a rotisserie chicken – or sometimes more than 1 depending on my menu.  I find them to be perfect for my meal planning and are usually cheaper then a whole uncooked chicken – Bonus points for me!

Sams Club

I love to hit up the veges and fruit area as well as look at the cheeses, fresh pastas and pizza – yum!  After that there are several items I grab in the frozen food section (like frozen veges, chicken nuggets and icecream).  We finish up our shopping by buying a few items in the grocery aisle (like canned fruit & veges, pasta, pasta sauce and cereal).

Sams Club

One of my other places I never miss is the beverages and disposables area.  We drink a ton of bottled water in our home (our city has nasty water) and I always stock up on paper plates and plastic utinsels.  I am a busy mom and the less dishes I have to do the better – some nights pulling out the paper plates is what saves my sanity!

I also love using the Fresh Pasta at Sam’s Club.  They have several different kinds/flavors.  The one I bought for our menu this week has Sausage and Cheese in it – so good!  I make up  a quick batch of my Spaghetti Sauce and cook up the fresh pasta and have another quick meal ready.

Pasta

These are only a few of my favorite meals I make using Sam’s Club food.  What is your favorite thing to grab from Sam’s Club and make?

You can find more information out about Sam’s Club on their website (membership info), Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+

I love shopping for fresh fruit as well as meat at Sam’s Club, too! That reminds me that I haven’t picked up one of their rotisserie chickens in a while. I’ll grab one this weekend! Thanks for sharing! #client

Oh WOW! Sounds delicious. I wonder how it would taste to add a little bit of chopped sweet onion? I plan to make this for dinner real soon. Thanks for the great salad recipe.
