My family loves anything with Garlic and whenever I see a dinner ideas that includes Garlic I know it is something my family will want to try. So when I saw Land O’Lakes Sauté Express® Sauté Starter I thought of several recipes we love and came up with my Chicken Campenelle with Garlic Herb Sauce.  It was a big hit!!  You can see all about my shopping trip in my Google+ album.

Sauté Express® Sauté Starter are Seasoned Butter squares.  There are so many yummy flavors and options!  You can find these in the butter case at Walmart.

Chicken Campenelle with Garlic Herb Sauce

Ingredients Needed:

  • 3 cups uncooked dried campanelle pasta (you could use other pasta but campanelle pasta is such a fun shape)
  • 3 Garlic & Herb Land O’Lakes Sauté Express® Sauté Starter cubes (6 come in a package)
  • 1 Pound chicken tenders cut into 1 inch pieces
  • Vegetables – use any on hand – today I used 1 crown of broccoli and 1 red pepper but you really could use anything you have on hand. I think Asparagus, mushrooms, peas, spinach would be really good in this
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Lets Get Cooking

1 – Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain and Keep Warm.

The Campenelle noodles are such a fun shape!
2 – Melt 2 of the Sauté Express® Sauté Starter cubes in a 12 inch skillet over a medium heat until the saute starter cubes have melted and begin to bubble.

3 – Add Chicken pieces. Cook them 6 minutes (or until lightly browned). Add the vegetables and cook for 10 minutes. Remove to a bowl leaving any sauce in skillet.

4 – Melt the remaining Sauté Express® Sauté Starter cube in the skillet over medium/low heat until it starts to bubble. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir until pasta is nicely coated. Add pasta to vegetables and chicken.

5 – Add Parmesan Cheese and gently mix everything together.

6 – Serve with a warm breadstick and salad.

Tuesday – Shannon’s Baked Potato Soup (make a double batch and freeze half for another day)
Wednesday – Grilled Pork Chops with Bacon, Cranberry and Pecan Salad
Thursday – Leftovers Night
Friday – Pizza night
Saturday – Grilled Chicken with Supreme Pasta Salad
Sunday – Spaghetti with garlic bread and salad
What meals do you have planned this week – I would love to hear some of your ideas!

Thanks Kimberly – We love broccoli here but you could always substitue it for some vegetable that you like.
