The only big meal of the year that I make for my family is Christmas Eve Dinner. Easter and Thanksgiving dinner is always spent with lots of family at someone else’s home and I never have the opportunity to make a big meal with a pretty table. Christmas Eve is my time to shine for my own little family, so I try to make it extra special. Here are some items I am planning on getting for this years Christmas Tablescape from World Market. I love shopping at World Market and love that I am a World Market Trendsetter, promotional items have been provided to me for this post. I can’t wait to show you the items I picked out for my Christmas table from their Holiday Entertaining and Holiday Decor collections.
I hope the family loves how the table is done up this year, I am excited to get it set up and to enjoy a delicious meal with the family – I can’t wait!
Christmas Tablescape Ideas
White Buffet Tablecloth – Start off by covering the table with a nice crisp white tablecloth. I am trying to keep with the Christmas color theme of Red, Green and White. The tablecloth will be a nice solid backdrop as a base to begin creating my beautiful table.
Red and Gold Floral Tablerunner – I think this tablerunner will look beautiful down the center of the white tablecloth. It has a scrolling foil design against a brilliant red fabric with glistening gold flowers. It is going to add such an elegant touch to my table.
Red Felt Snowflake Placemats – I have 3 kids at home so I want the table to be a bit whimsical, these snowflake placemats are perfect for that. I know the kids will love them.
Round Buon Natale Glass Plates – There were so many plates to choose from at World Market. These plates are exclusive at World Market and are perfect for a home with children excited for a visit from Santa Claus. These plates are going to add the perfect touch to my table.
Ivory and Red Embroidered Cotton Napkins – Besides each plate will be these crisp cotton napkins. I chose a white napkin with just a touch of red pretty stitching.
Pinecone and PomPom Garland – I will have 3 of these Garland spread out around the table to build up the outdoorsy winter Christmas feel I am going for. You know when you watch Rudolph the Red Nose reindeer and it has the snow and the outdoor trees, the reindeer and Santa – that is what I am going for. This Garland has real pinecones and snow like pom poms and will help make the table so pretty.
White Glitter Trees – Out of everything these are my favorite. Glitter speaks to me! These white Ggittery trees are gorgeous, they are even prettier in person! They are made from textured paper and the glitter adds a snowy sparkle!
