Coca-Cola Chicken Drumsticks Recipe – Share a Coke!

Are you ready to Share a Coke??  If you were to ask me what my all time favorite drink is, with no hesitation I would tell you that it is Coke!  This is my go to drink for just about everything –

  • My favorite drink with a meal
  • A special treat just for me – I have “Me Time” daily with my coke!
  • A delicious cold drink in this hot weather
  • A reward for doing something fabulous  – like waking up!

So when I heard about the Share A Coke campaign that coke was doing I knew it would be something I would be excited about!  To share my coke excitement I am sharing my recipe for Coca-Cola Chicken Drumsticks – one of the easiest recipes ever!! #ShareItForward

Coca-Cola Chicken Drumsticks

Coca Cola Chicken Drumsticks

All you need to make this is three simple ingredients:

  • Chicken Drumsticks
  • Coke
  • Soy Sauce

The marinade is quite simple.  It is equal parts coke to soy sauce.  So for these 6 drumsticks I used 1 cup Coke and 1 cup Soy Sauce.  You can do more or less depending on how may drumsticks you have – just keep it equal!  I put everything in a ziploc baggie for easy cleanup.  Marinate in the fridge for at least 3 to 4 hours. How easy is that??

Heat up your grill, grab a coke to enjoy and grill up your Chicken drumsticks!

This recipe is perfect for a quick lunch or dinner or  a BBQ with friends – the marinade also tastes great on steak and pork chops!

Coca Cola Chicken Drumsticks - Share a Coke

So now that I shared my delicious yummy recipe grab a coke and read up on the upcoming Share a Coke Event:

On July 6th there will be a Nationwide Share a Coke Event at Walmart stores. This is where people can bring their families and friends and enjoy the sharing of a Coke. This event is all about coming together and sharing a moment, and a Coke of course!

For a list of Walmart’s hosting in this in-store event you can check out the store list here.

Who would you bring to this event?  I would bring me (because I kinda sorta have a coke obsession), some of my best friends also love coke and perhaps my brothers (they love coke just as much as I do).  Also they have these 20 oz. bottles in the fridge section by the checkout stands

Share a Coke

Of course there are my favorites (Regular Coke and Cherry Coke) but they also have some bottles that have been personalized to say Family, Friends and even some have names – I thought that was a lot of fun!

Share A Coke

How do you plan on sharing a coke this summer??

Yum!! I can’t wait for it to be warm and summery to do this on the grill. I recently did something similar but for the crockpot – also super yum!
