It seems Spring came early this year in Utah. The weather has been amazing! I am already pulling out my Spring and Easter decorations and already planning some fun treats! These Happy Easter Candy Treats would be fun as a treat to give friends and family. Or your kids could give them to their teachers at school. Oh, how cute would it be to have these in their Easter baskets? So many ways to use this quick and fun treat!
Happy Easter Candy Treats
- For Peep’s Sake Clear Stamp Set
- Stamp Block
- 2 ” Circle Punch
- 2 1/4 ” Scallop Punch
- Classic Stampin’ Pad in Strawberry Slush
- Classic Stampin’ Pad in Temptin Turquoise
- Whisper White Cardstock
- Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper
- Cellophane Treat Bags
- Easter Candy
- Glue Dots or Dimensionals
Fill your celophane treat bags with Easter Candy. I used Easter Peanut M & M’s. Honestly they were a little too big for the bags and I actually broke a couple of bags – when I make this again I will use plain M&M’s or another small candy.
On your white cardstock stamp the Happy Hoppy Easter phrase (with the blue ink pad) and the Easter Eggs (with the pink ink pad).
Using the 2″ circle punch to cut out your stamps.
Using a 2 1/4″ scallop punch cut out scallop circles from the Glimmer paper.
Adhere the stamped paper onto the Glimmer paper using glue dots or dimensionals. I liked using dimensionals because it gives it a slight pop off the paper.
Adhere your stamped image to the front of the treat bag.
Your treats are all done! So quick, easy and cute!
These are so simple to put together, and something your kids could help you with if they were making these for friends or for a teacher.
I just love how these turned out – so fun!
