Heart Swag Tutorial

This post may contain affiliate links. Read my discolsure police here.

To go along with my Sweetheart wreath Adison and I created a Heart Swag to be hung on our shelf for Valentine’s Day.  It is a very simple project but something that Adison could easily help me with.  Plus it is not avery expensive Valentines Day craft.

Supplies Needed:

  • Heart Doilies (I purchased mine from Hobby Lobby and spent around $2 for both packages)
  • Ribbon – I cut each ribbon piece to about 11 1/2 inches
  • Scissors

I have so much ribbon left over from other projects that I just used pieces that matched my project.

Let’s get started!

Grab your first heart doily and run the ribbon through it.  Tie a knot at the beginning.  This will help when hanging your swag.

Tie a ribbon onto the first ribbon and repeat.

Continue until your swag is as long as you would like and hang it onto your shelf.

This is a super simple project but I think is so cute and just adds a little something.  I can’t wait to finish decorating my shelf.  Do you decorate for Valentine’s Day?
