When my family gets together to we always like to have some food around. It can be a movie night, board game night or just watching the games on TV – good food needs to be there. I like to have bite size food that is easy to eat as well as easy to make. I don’t want to be working hard in the kitchen while everyone is having fun. I want something that is quick and easy to make so I can enjoy watching the game with them! These Mini Fajita bats are perfect fo this! My local Walmart is just down the street and the perfect place to grab my ingredients along with the Old El Paso Taco Boats.
While this fajita taco recipe I am sharing today uses quick ingredients (like frozen pre cut peppers/onions) you could swap them out for fresh peppers/onions. I sometimes do that when I have more time.
Mini Fajita Taco Bowls
- 1/2 package of frozen pepper/onion strips
- package of frozen precooked steak fajita strips
- Old El Paso Taco Seasoning
- Old El Paso Mini Taco Boats
- Shredded Cheese
- 1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
Add Vegetable Oil to a saute pan and heat to medium/high heat. Add frozen steak fajita strips and frozen vegetables.
Once everything starts cooking saute for 2 minutes.
Add Taco seasoning along with the amount of water the seasoning packet calls for.
Following the seasoning packet instructions cook for about 5 more minutes, stirring occasionally.
Place fajitas and peppers into your mini taco boats.
Add Cheese and enjoy!
You could also add other toppings like guacamole and sour cream – yum! These Mini Taco bowls are just the perfect size! I also like the bigger bowls for when you want a bigger portion!
