My Halloween Mantle and Halloween Banner from American Crafts

I just love decorating for Halloween – probably one of my favorite holidays to decorate for.  It is a toss up between Halloween and Christmas.  In the mail I received a fun box full of American Crafts  Halloween items to play, craft and create with.  See how cute and fun my mantle/shelf is!

So cute right??  If you missed it be sure to check out the tutorials for my Witch’s Feet and my Halloween Cat.  The wreath was super simple by just tying on Tulle around a foam wreath – super easy.  I am just loving the Happy Halloween Banner – it is so fun!  The American Crafts Halloween Banner kit has everything you need to make the banner (which can be found at Target stores) – I added the ribbons (those don’t come in the kit).

The letters in the kit are self adhesive – so I only had to peel off the adhesive backing from the gold glitter letters and place on the black shadow letters.  The adhesive held really nicely and it was nice not having to pull out my own adhesive.

The black shadow letters also have adhesive on the back.  So just peel off the backing and attach it to the banners.

Then all you have left to do is run the black string through the letters and it turns out so cute!

You could hang it up just like this and it would be great, but I decided to add a few more things to give it a bit more color and Halloween fun.  I added ribbons to the banner to add a pop of color along with some American Crafts embellishments.

American Crafts Target line also has some fun embellishments like these

I thought the epoxy stickers and star stickers would be nice on the banner.  I took the epoxy stickers and placed them on the big gold glitter star

I used the star stickers and some black string to create a set of stars to run along the banner

This Halloween Banner was probably one of the quickest crafts I have ever made!

You can find this Halloween Banner kit at Target (In the craft supply aisle – not the Halloween items). There are also some other fun kits likes some Witch Hat Place cards and a Halloween Wreath!  What I think is also pretty great is that the American Crafts Halloween Items are mostly $5 or less – the Halloween Wreath is $10 but everything else is $5 or less – can’t beat that!

Check out more of my Halloween Crafts!

I want to thank American Crafts for sponsoring this post – I had so much fun making the Halloween Banner and just loving how much it added to my Halloween Shelf!

Thanks Kami – I don’t really have a mantle, it is more of a shelf – but I call it my mantle 🙂
