We just love to play video games in our home and love all of the different options out there. Adison prefers games where she can create, explore and build things. So when we were asked to have Adison play Nintendos Tomadachi Life and Animal Crossing we just couldn’t pass that up! After a long day at school and a boatload of homework is has been something she has really looked forward to doing. She really enjoyed the games and told me that she thought they would make great gifts for anyone who loves playing games.
She has had a lot of fun playing these games and when I asked her if she enjoyed Animal Crossing or Tomadachi Life better she told me that so far she likes Tomadachi Life more because she has played it more. It is the one she started playing first and she had a hard time putting it down so she just barely started on Animal Crossing. She is really enjoying Animal Crossing just hasn’t played it as much as the other.
Let me tell you about these two great games –
Tomadachi Life is a game where you create a Mii Character that has its own life on an island. You customize the Mii and participate in a world where anything can happen. Adison has loved having her Mii go shopping, make friends, solve problems and especially loves going to the music store – her Mii just loves to sing!
There are all sorts of activities that you can do with your Mii character – play games, eat food and even share photos of the fun you are having on your island – just use the Nintendo 3DS Image Share Tool to do this! Adison had loved changing here Mii’s appearance, voice and calls the Mii her Mini Mii.
Animal Crossing is a game where you are a mayor of a town that is always changing. You are in charge of your town and get to personalize it as it grows. You make the laws, decide when stores open and what is built. There a games to play and items to find. You can also play with up to three other players and do the mini-games together. Other than customizing your character you get to customize the world around it – change colors and looks of everything like the furniture, their clothes, patterns – so many customizeable options!
I asked Adison to tell us about one of the games – she decided to tell us about Tomadachi Life – so here is her little video
So if you are looking for some gift ideas this had Adison’s stamp of approval!!
Adison wants to Thank Nintendo for letting her have these games to play and enjoy!
