Last week I mentioned a little party I had where I served up some yummy food and shared my Garlic Parmesan Herb Roasted Potatoes. At the party we also made an awesome Orange Citrus Sugar Scrub that I am going to share with you today.

At each seat was a Better Zester. You could use any zester you have but I think once you try out this Zester you will know why it is a favorite of mine.
My friends were so great to hang out with me and make our sugar scrubs - they are such a fun group of friends!
Orange Citrus Sugar Scrub
Ingredients Needed:
- Jars for Scrub - check out the huge selection of Jars on Amazon
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp pure honey
- ¼ cup olive oil (may add more if needed)
- 2 tsp. fresh orange zest
- Zester (I used the Better Zester)
In a bowl put in your cup of sugar, honey, olive oil and orange zest.
The reason I like the Better Zester is because of so many reasons. It is easy to hold, zests quite quickly and has a container that holds what you are zesting. That container has measurements on it. I love that part!
Mix everything together.
Once everything is mixed well it will a nice bright orange color. Pour into your jar. I thought these jars were so cute. I grabbed these jars from World Market as well. Use your Orange Citrus Sugar scrub to wash your hands to make them super soft and smell great.
We had a great night and everyone was able to go home with a Better Zester, a bottle of their own sugar scrub and some fun memories!
I think this sugar scrub would be such a fun gift! I am working on making a printable gift tag to put with the sugar scrub. I will be sure to let you know once I have it ready so you can make these as gifts as well.

I want that zester! I it cool or what!
Question: is this scrub something that can be used on the face or is it just for hands? I am almost out of my facial scrub and I would love to make this.
Summer Scraps
Honestly I don't know how it does for a face scrub. I have only used it on my hands and it leaves everything feeling so soft. There are no chemicals in this or anything so I would think it would be safe for the face, but I have never tried it.

I will definitely be making this scrub! The parchment paper is so cute--thanks for the heads up on it!
