I love to make little treat boxes and bags for all occastions. You can usually use the same idea and with different paper and stamps make something holiday, birthday or every day occasion themed. I was able to play with some rally pretty papers today so I wanted to use them to turn into treat boxes and I just love how they turned out!
Pyramid Treat Boxes Tutorial
I received product from Stampin Up to use in my crafts and decorating. I just love working with their products! Here is what I used today:
These supplies are linked to the supplies I used (may contain affiliate links):
- Shine On Specialty Design Paper
- Pyramid Pals Thinlits Dies
- Amazing Birthday Stamp Set
- Scallop Circle Punch – 1 1/4″
- Iced Rhinestones
- Bermuda Bay Ink Pad
- White Cardstock
- Die cutting machine – I used a Cuttlebug because that is what I have
- Adhesive – I used Tape and Mini Glue Dots
To start off use your diecutting machine and cut out the pyramid shape out of your favorite piece of Shine On Specialty papers. I love so many of these papers so I decided to cut out some in different sheets. For the treat boxes you will need to cut out 2 pyramid shapes from your paper.
The Pyramid Pal thinlits cut out what you need but also makes folding marks where you need to fold your pieces.
To create the base of the treat box put a double sided tape on one of the squares and secure the other square onto it like in the picture below.
You will have two triangles with folds. Add tape to only one of the triangles with folds.
Then tape the sides up. Leave one side without tape so you can easily open and close the treat box to add and remove your treats.
So add your treats and close up your boxes. Now lets decorate the front.
Using the Amazing Birthday stamp set stamp your circle in the blue ink. Then punch out the image with your scallop punch.
Add a rhinestone to the front for some extra bling.
Add these to the front of your treat boxes with some mini glue dots.
I think these turned out so cute and they are so easy to make. You could make a bunch in no time. You could also trade out your stamp to create a different word or saying to fit any occasion!
