Sausage and Vegetable Tinfoil Dinner
- Smoked Sausage or Kielbasa
- Any vegetables you may have – Today I used potatoes, mushrooms, green beans, shallots and garlic
- Olive Oil
- Seasonings – I used season salt and pepper
Get your grill warming up. I just use a gas grill – mine has a temperature guage on it and I get it up to 350 degrees.
Cut up everything into bite sized pieces (about 1 inch pieces). If you use potatoes preboil them for about 5 minutes to get the cooking started – drain the potatoes then add them to everything else on some tinfoil.
Season and add olive oil them mix everything together.
Wrap with tinfoil. I like to make sure it is nicely wrapped so you don’t have food falling out. I wrapped this with 4 pieces of tinfoil just to be safe.
Place on top rack of your grill (it should be fine on a bottom rack if you don’t have a top). Cook for 10 minutes then flip over. Repeat two more times. Once this has cooked for 30 minutes it should be done. The sausage is already precooked so you are just want everything hot and juicy and potatoes soft.
This was sooo good that my entire family was standing around begging me to hurry and take my pictures so they could eat. Serve this with some fresh fruit and you have a nice, simple and satisfying meal!
