This Thankful for Sweet Friends post is brought to you by #OREOThinsAreIn and #CollectiveBias
I like to have things around my home that I can use to make a quick treat for a friend or family member. I am seeing some friends this weekend so I thought I would bring them a little treat. Treats from friends are always fun right? Have you seen the new OREO Thins? They are the perfect size to fit in a cellophane bag to make a cute treat.
The OREO Thins comes in three flavors – Regular, Mint and Golden.
For these treats I purchased the Regular and Mint.
The cookies are crispier and thinner and the cookie to cream ratio is so perfect and yummy!
Let me show you how easy these are to make!
So Thankful for Sweet Friends Like You Treat Bags with Free Printable
Supplies Needed (this post does contain affiliate links):
- OREO Thins
- Free Sweet Friend Printable
- Cellophane Bags (the kind you would use for Pretzel rods)
- Red Butcher Twine
- Small hole punch
First I slid the OREO Thins into the cellophane Bags. These thin cookies really are the perfect size and slid right into the bags. The size of cellophane bag I used is the size you would purchase to hold pretzel rods – I believe it even says that on the package. I put 9 cookies into each bag. For each mug I made a “regular” OREO bag and a “mint” OREO bag.
Next tie the bag up with some red butcher twine.
I thought it would be cute to put the cookies in a mug. In the mug I included a bag of each flavor. On one of the bags I added the “Sweet Friends” printable. I did this by punching two small holes on the tag, running the string through the holes and tying a bow.
I really love how this turned out and how perfectly everything fit.
I can’t wait to give these out to my friends when I see them this weekend; I know they will just love it!
New OREO Thins are now available at CVS stores nationwide. A CVS just opened up by me and it was great to see my favorite treats there. They make the perfect treat or snack for your family and friends.
I’ve shared how I plan to take a time out with new, thinner, crispier, OREO Thins from CVS– now tell me which flavor you’d like to take a break with!
