Easy Washi Tape Christmas Tree Treat Bag

This post may contain affiliate links. Read my discolsure police here.

If you are looking for a quick and simple way to package up a simple treat or gift card have I got something  for you!  This literally takes seconds to make and is oh so cute!  I think this would be a fun way to gift a gift card – just put the card and note inside of the bag.  I also think it is a great idea for holding a sweet little treat – and that is what I am going to show you today.

A big candybar is a fun little treat, especially when packaged with a Washi Tape Christmas Tree!  I think this is what my kids will be giving to some of their friends this year.

Washi Tape Christmas Tree Treat Bag

Supplies Needed:

Some links below go to Stampin Up product page and some go to Amazon (I am an affilliate)

  • Christmas Washi Tape
  • Kraft Gift Bags
  • Iced Rhinestones
  • Yellow Star Sticker or Punch

I simply alternated washi tape designs onto the kraft bags.  Using bigger and bigger pieces to make the shape of a tree.  I liked the look of putting the tape pieces at an angle.

Use a yellow star sticker (which is what I did) or use a star punch for the top of the Christmas Tree.  Then add the self adhesive rhinestones to the tree for some bling.

Add your gift card or hot chocolate treat and you are set! How easy is that?

What an adorable idea! I love how cute the tape looks on the paper bag and it looks so quick and easy to make it look like a little Christmas tree. Oh this is just so cute and a great way to use up some of the little pieces you might have left over from other projects 🙂 Thanks so much for linking this up to the Bewitchin’ Projects Block Party this week. This is such a creative idea. I always seem to be running last minute with everything, so I love a simple idea that makes such a great impact. I think it is also even more special if it is time saving. Thanks for the inspiration!
