One of my favorite things to do around Christmas time is to make fun treats for my family.  I like to think of things they can help me make and this is one of them.  I dip the reindeers in the chocolate and they help me with the pretzels, reindeer faces and snow on the Snack Pack pudding cups.  These Reindeer pudding cups were a hit and perfect to have for a special treat while watching a Christmas movie as a family.

Reindeer Pudding Cups

Ingredients Needed:

  • Super Snack Pack Pudding Cups in your favorite flavor (they come in Chocolate, Vanilla and Chocolate Vanilla Combo) – I like using the Super Snack Pack size because it has 60% more pudding – who doesn’t want more pudding?
  • Mini Pretzels
  • Nutter Butter Cookies
  • Melting Chocolate or Chocolate Chips
  • Candy Eyes
  • Red or Brown candies
  • Shaved Coconut

First line a baking sheet with parchment paper.  I actually spray my baking sheet with an oil spray so the parchment paper will stick to it. I used two mini pretzels for each reindeer to be the antlers.  Arrange the pretzels on the baking sheet

Melt your chocolate in the microwave in a microwave safe bowl.  I heat for 30 seconds stir and repeat.  I usually have to do this 3 times until the chocolate is nice and melted.

Dip the Nutter Butter cookies in the melted chocolate coating both sides and edges.  You can use a fork to do this but I just use my fingers.  Because I use my fingers there is a little spot at the bottom that is not coated with chocolate which is okay because the bottom will be in the pudding.

Place the chocolate covered cookies onto your pretzel antlers.

Before the chocolate hardens add the candy eyes and red or brown candy nose.

Let the reindeers cool and the chocolate harden.  You can set them aside on the counter or if you want them to harden faster place them in your fridge.

Now lets get the Snack Pack Pudding cups ready.  I used the Super Size Snack Pack Chocolate and Chocolate Vanilla combo pudding cups.  Take the lid off of each cup and add some coconut to look like snow.

Add a reindeer cookie to each cup and they are ready to go!

How cute are these??  I hope you love them as much as I do!
